The toy is produced by an English workshop manufacturing hand-crafted wooden toys for pre-school children. The toy meets ethical standards on several counts:

- environmentally, the toy is manufactured from managed forest beech wood, with all paints and varnishes Toy Safety tested and certificated before use, in compliance with EN71;
- socially, as the toy is being produced by the workshop which scores high on human rights as it employs people with disabilities, providing them with real jobs and enabling them to gain a certain independence.
