Today, even the youngest ones, can be initiated to the values of Fair Trade through this pedagogical and clever game. On board of the ship "El Magnifico", children travel the world to meet producers of various goods. Through this adventure their memory and rapidity is stimulated. This is an original, educational and fun game.

So, load a cargo of white gold (wheat) onto your ship. With the help of your compass, travel (or visit) all continents to meet the farmers, hear their proposals (white gold – cotton, red gold – rice, etc.) and then bring to your harbour the treasures (commodities) which you need.

Mission: every player will have to travel on her/his ship in a pursuit (or searching for) of Earth commodities hidden in four different parts of the world and to be the first to bring them back to her/his island.

Principle: players are wheat producers on their island. They have to trade their wheat with producers of coffee, cotton and rice, and to bring, as fast as possible, those commodities back to their islands following a very precise order, defined by their “mission” card. But, maybe the producers have already exchanged those precious commodities among each other...?

Le Negocito game is itself based on Fair Trade principles, engaging four partners from Peru and one from France. Ships, “mission” cards, commodities and the compass are made by Juan and Segundo, both handicraftsmen from Lima, Peru. The are also responsible for the design of the game. Lamb wool used for the little pions-bag is hand-woven by Inocento, in the Inomaki workshop (Peru). The map 100% cotton and the bag are produced by Casabet tailors (Peru). The box and the game rules are printed by Unigraph team. The logistics (stocking and shipment) are being implemented jointly with a French association promoting Fair Trade.

The game is recommended for children from 4 years and up. There are two levels of play: level “matelot” and level “capitaine”.
